The mantling is now replacing the old way of getting up high to different locations, like building a ramp or entering the building and searching for the stairs to climb. So, being able to mantle is quite life-saving now!

Follow these steps to mantle in Fortnite:

  1. Jump towards a ledge
  2. Keep the jump button held down
  3. Pull yourself up onto the building, vehicle, or cliff that you’ve jumped towards

TIP: sprint before mantling to cover more distance when jumping!

As for the weekly challenge that requires to mantle 5 times in 5 seconds, just head somewhere with many buildings (Condo Canyon).

TIP 2: build a set of massive stairs at least five stories high, including floors and walls; mantle them quickly in a row.

How to Damage an Enemy Player Within 10 Seconds of Mantling?

To complete another weekly challenge that requires you to ‘damage an opponent within 10 seconds of mantling,’ you’ll have to:

  • land at a busy POI, close the Battle Bus to spot other players
  • get an SMG or Assault Rifle and keep mantling until you see an enemy player
