Meet the OpticFlux team:
A science writer through and through, William first started working on offline local newspapers. An obsessive fascination with all things science/health blossomed from a hobby into a career. Before hopping over to Optic Flux, William worked as a freelancer for many online tech publications including ScienceWorld, JoyStiq and Digg. William serves as our lead science and health reporter.
Based out of Detroit, Tonia Nissen has been writing for Optic Flux since 2017 and is currently our Managing Editor. An experienced freelance health writer, Tonia obtained an English BA from the University of Detroit, then spent over 7 years working in various markets as a television reporter, producer and news videographer. Tonia is particularly interested in scientific innovation, climate technology, and the marine environment.
Susan Kowal is an entrepreneur and an experienced investor/advisor. She enjoys writing about her own experiences, focusing on explaining complicated notions in order to make them easy to understand. Susan is also a health enthusiast who loves to write about what it takes to have a healthy life.
Cristian is in love with technology as many of us. He has a vast experience as a content writer in the field. He’s involved especially in the gaming area, where he covers the latest news in open-world, role-playing, and first-person shooter titles.
Writing was, and still is, my first passion. I love all that cool stuff about science and technology. I’ll try my best to bring you the latest news every day.
