Pokemon Sword and Shield Sun Stone Evolutions – Evolving Heloptile, Cottonee, and Gloom!

If you are into capturing Pokemon that resemble garden plants, you may also be looking for the pokemon Sword and Shield Sun Stone, which can help you evolve some of your Pokemon!

To find a Sun Stone, you have to head out to the Lake of Outrage in the wild area. You should notice a body of water in the left with a Watt Trader nearby. If you can take care of the Gyarados lurking, cross the patch of water with the Rotom Bike upgrade, you get during Route 9.

Once you get there, avoid the critters and search under each stone from the circle to obtain eight evolutionary stones.

One of them usually is a Sun Stone. If not, repeat the process as one would spawn at some point.

If you want to test your luck, you can speak to the Digging Duo from the Bridge Field part of the Wild Area, and they will try to dig one up as long as you pay the price.

It is a random process, so you have to keep your fingers crossed.

Now, to evolve Gloom Cottonee and Helioptile!

Once you acquire the precious stone, you can open up your bag and head to the “Other Items” tab and use the item on the Pokemon that you want to take to the next level.

However, don’t give it to your critter, as it won’t help with anything!

Once you get a Gloom, a Sun Stone will turn it into a Bellossom.

A Cottonee would turn into a Whimsicott, while the Helioptile would turn into a Heliolisk!

Stay tuned for extra tricks and trips to get the most out of your Pokemon!
