This summer is going to be legendary for Pokemon Go! Niantic has just announced the return of a special, fun-filled event that’ll leave everyone in awe.

Pokemon Go Fest 2021 is back, and it promises to be the best version that trainers will see this summer. From the event’s arrival, Pokemon spawns to tickets and more, we’ve compiled a list with everything you should know.

Pokemon Go Fest 2021 Release Date

Niantic has announced that the new Pokemon Go Fest 2021 will air on July 17, and it will be available until July 18 as a two-day weekend special event.

Every day will come with a unique set of features and other surprises yet to be announced. For example, on July 17, the event will focus on catching all your favourite ‘mon, while the next day, on Raids.

A Music festival Special Research

Pokemon Go Fest 2021 will add special research on July 17. That will have trainers help Professor Willow and the team leaders get ready for a concert celebration. 

There will also be many rewards, like a Mythical encounter and avatar items. How cool is that?

You can choose between Pikachu Pop Star or Pikachu Rock Star and decide which music will play during the event.

Global Challenge Arena is back

On Pokemon Go Fest 2021’s first day, you’ll have to complete a special challenge every hour and get rewards.

Hourly Habitats returns

Pokemon Go Fest 2021 will feature four habitats, and some Pokemon will spawn more during this. The habitats will include:

  • Desert Mountain: Shieldon, Skarmory, Hippopotas, and more;
  • Cave: Galarian Stunfisk, Deino, Roggenrola, Deino, and more;
  • Jungle: Aipom, Scyther, Froakie, and many others;
  • Ocean Beach: Swablu, Dratini, Alomomola, and more.

More Shiny ‘mon

Pokemon Go Fest 2021 will welcome Shiny Sawk, Shiny Audino, Shiny Chimecho, Shiny Unown F, Shiny Whismur, Shiny Tympole, and Shiny Throh.
