Luckily for all of you Dragon Ball fans out there, the manga version of Super continued the story long after the Tournament of Power. That’s where the animated show left the story four years ago, but there’s no telling when Dragon Ball Super will end.

Exciting arcs came in the manga, as Goku and Vegeta had new powerful foes to confront. Moro and Granolah became the new foes that were stronger than pretty much anybody else the mighty Saiyans had to face in the past. But it turns out in the recent chapters of the manga that Granolah isn’t the real foe.

During the Granolah arc, the Cerelian bounty hunter was looking to revenge the death of his mother. He believed that Goku and Vegeta were to blame, but in the end, he got convinced that the true enemy was another guy. A sinister truth became real for Granolah, as he realized that the one who employed him was the real foe: Gas, the leader of the Heeters.

Chapter 80 shows the clash between Granolah and Gas

Chapter 80 of the Dragon Ball Super Manga arrives this month for the fans to grab, and a promo already showcases one of its battles: Granolah vs. Gas. The Cerealian surely doesn’t have any love feelings towards the one who killed his mother. Behold:

We’re assuming that Goku and Vegeta will also have their chance to take down Gas. As it usually happens in Dragon Ball, the arc is never over after its first major fight. Both Granolah and Gas are among the strongest fighters in the Universe at this point, which means that we can obviously expect a great battle.

There’s no sign of Goku and Vegeta until now, but the mighty Saiyans cannot possibly be late for the show. They’ll definitely be willing to test their fighting skills once again.
