Diablo 4 Receives Its First Hotfix Update – Check Out What’s New

We’re just a few days away before Blizzard’s action RPG Diablo 4 comes out. The game will officially launch next week on Tuesday, and it will be available for plenty of platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/Series S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs.

Blizzard has made some changes to the PC version of the game by releasing a hotfix, and videogamer.com brings us details. This hotfix is done on their servers, which means that players don’t need to download anything themselves. The hotfix addresses certain issues, like the ‘unable to find valid license’ Error Code, while more fixes are expected to come.

Here are the details of the hotfix, courtesy of the official Blizzard forums:

  • Sorcerer Class: The Flame Shield Enchantment starts on cooldown when initially equipped in an Enchantment slot.
  • Rogue Class: After the unlimited energy of Inner Sight runs out, there will be a minor delay before another enemy becomes marked.
  • Shout Skill Cooldown Reduction: This affix will no longer appear in the case of items.
  • Miscellaneous: Monster health values have been increased when it comes to later World Tiers.

If you want more information about the game, you can check out guides on getting a mount or defeating the Butcher boss in Diablo 4. The game is available now in early access, which means that you could already get a taste of it.

Remember, the new changes will automatically take effect the next time you log into the game. You don’t need to manually download any updates. Stay tuned to find out about more hotfixes from Blizzard as the devs continue to improve the game based on player feedback!

Diablo 3, the previous game of the Diablo series, was released over a decade ago, in 2012, after it was developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. The game is set in the dark world of Sanctuary, and the pressure is now huge on Blizzard to release a better game.
