Oppo has released the WeChat Edition of its Watch 3 smartwatch for those willing to use contactless payments. For the moment, the product is available exclusively in China, and the source of the news is represented by the popular social media site Weibo, as spotted by GSMArena.

The original Oppo Watch 3 was launched back in August 2022. It’s a lightweight and compact product, with a weight of 31.9 grams and a thickness of 11.7mm. This makes it comfortable to wear and easy to carry around.

The watch runs on the Android Wear OS. It has a generous amount of storage built-in, with 32GB available, and no slot to add additional storage. This allows you to store music, photos, apps, and other data right on the watch.

The watch features a 1.75-inch display with a resolution of 372×430 pixels. The screen is sharp and vibrant, allowing you to view your notifications, messages, and other data in crisp detail.

It is powered by a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 and 1GB of RAM, which provide fast performance and smooth operation. The watch is able to handle a variety of apps and tasks, providing the versatility you need for your busy lifestyle.

The Oppo Watch 3 is equipped with a 400mAh battery that can last for a long time on a single charge. This allows you to use the watch throughout the day without worrying about running out of power. The battery is rechargeable using Li-ion technology, which offers a quick and efficient way to recharge your device.

1GB of RAM is sufficient for most smartwatches and is standard for many models on the market. With 1GB of RAM, a smartwatch can easily handle basic tasks such as displaying notifications, tracking fitness, and running simple apps.

However, if you plan on using your smartwatch for more demanding tasks such as running advanced apps, playing games, or using features such as AR and VR, then more RAM may be beneficial.
