Fortnite update v20.30 is ready to kick in and introduce some sleek new content, including a Star Wars crossover and anime skins. How cool is that?
The upcoming mid-season update could also add new weapons and more crossovers, but we shouldn’t expect something major. According to some sources, Epic will soon reveal more details about exciting stuff coming to Fortnite.
We’ve compiled a guide of everything you need to know, including the downtime schedule.
Fortnite 20.30 Update: Downtime Info
The downtime for the new Fortnite update will start at 1 AM PT/ 4 AM ET/ 9 AM BST on May 3, 2022. The matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before.
Unfortunately, we don’t know how long the downtime will last. Based on previous events, we could have to wait between 1 hour and 2 hours, but that depends mainly on how much content Epic adds.
Fortnite 20.30 Update: Star Wars Skins and Lightsabers
On May 4, we celebrate Star Wars, and it’s a fact that Fortnite is known for its crossovers with the franchise. That means a new crossover might take place following the 20.30 update. How cool is that?
And that’s not all!
The lightsabers could also return to the loot pool! Chances to see some old Star Wars skins in the Item Shop are also high.
Fortnite 20.30 Update: No More Tilted Towers
The fan-favorite POI, Tilted Towers, is now gone! The towers have been destroyed as part of the IO and The Seven battle.

Fortnite 20.30 Update: Anime Legends Bundle
Popular tipster ShiinaBR has offered quite a glimpse on Twitter of what the new Fortnite v20.30 update might bring. Let’s have a look:
We don't know much about tomorrow's update, but these are the things that are 99% confirmed:
– "Omega Knight" outfit
– Anime Legends Bundle
– Blunder BundleThe rest will be a surprise! Some people said the "Blunder" bundle could be a Fall Guys collab, I can't confirm that, tho

So, we could get an Anime Legends bundle in the store, alongside a Blunder bundle and an Omega Knight. We might as well see the long-rumored Attack on Titan crossover. Fingers crossed!
