Fortnite’s Zero Build: Will it be a success for Epic Games?

Gamers all over the world will know that Fortnite is one of the most popular game franchises available right now, with millions of players from all around the world continuing to play the various versions that are available. The game has been out for a while but it is only rather recently that it has exploded in popularity.

Naturally, there are a number of different reasons why the game is so popular. One of the main reasons is that it is free to play. You do not have to spend any money to start playing the game and this has helped it to attract a large number of players.

Another reason for the game’s popularity is that it is very easy to pick up. You do not need to have any previous experience of playing first-person shooters or battle royale games to be good at Fortnite. That means the game is accessible to a wide range of players, which has helped to make it so popular.

Indeed, these factors have helped the game to become a popular esport activity for bettors, too. Given the competitive nature of the game, there have been a number of betting markets made available with some of the best sportsbook promos in Arizona available to use on the game due to the many professional players that are now competing in Fortnite tournaments that are regularly held across the world on a consistent basis.

However, it is possible that the level of popularity that has been enjoyed by the franchise could be about to explode further, with Epic Games – the creator/developer – having recently launched a new mode within the game: Fortnite Zero Build.

What is Fortnite Zero Build?

It has been argued by some already that Fortnite Zero Build has already made the game a lot better for a number of players, with those who perhaps did not enjoy the building aspect of the Fortnite: Battle Royale game significantly benefiting from this new mode.

Epic Games has revealed that the game is fast-paced compared to the original, whilst it is also more tactical as players are no longer able to build floors, ramps, or walls in order to protect themselves. Gamers who decide to use the Zero Build mode will be required to use their aiming skills and have a constant awareness of their surroundings in this mode in order to achieve victory!

Fortnite Zero Build has already received positive acclaim!

The fact that many would have thought that Fortnite Zero Build would appeal to casual players is something that has proven to be rather true, however there has also been a positive reception from professional gamers, too!

Pros such as Ninja have reacted positively to the update on social platforms, where they have also suggested that the Zero Build mode has provided them with the opportunity to enjoy the game more than ever before for the first time in ages, whilst some have even suggested that the game is even better than when it was first launched and became a worldwide hit seemingly overnight.

How do you access Fortnite Zero Build?

It is incredibly easy to find the Fortnite Zero Build mode, with it being found on the Discovery page as Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads playlists; much in the same way the Fortnite Battle Royale mode is accessed.

Has the gameplay been changed?

The only major change to have been created by the introduction of this new Zero Build mode is the fact that there is no building and players will have a recharging Overshield ability that will consistently be refreshed, thus adding a layer of protection.

The same items and vehicles are all available whilst the same map is used for the Fortnite Battle Royale game, and any future gameplay updates and new content additions will be added to both modes moving forward.

How successful will Fortnite Zero Build be?

Whilst it is still a relatively new feature, it would appear that the Fortnite Zero Build mode has every chance of being incredibly popular and a huge success in the future. It could potentially attract players back to the game who may have become bored or disillusioned with the original gameplay, whilst it may attract a greater number of casual gamers that may have been put off by the technical build elements that are used in the main game.
