The Cell Saga from Dragon Ball Z was one of the most exciting sagas of the show, if not the best. During that period, we’ve seen Gohan becoming a Super Saiyan for the first time and even surpassing that level all the way to Super Saiyan 2. Furthermore, that was the first saga when Gohan trained alongside his father, Goku.
Seeing both Goku and Gohan training together in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber was delightful for all of the fans of the famous franchise. The show finally proved that Goku could indeed be a good father while even teaching his son a few devastating moves. The two beloved Saiyans were training in order to battle Cell, the diabolical android created by Dr. Gero. At that time, Cell was the strongest villain the Z warriors ever had to face. He made Frieza look like nothing by comparison when it comes to sheer power. Cell was able to perform pretty much any technique that was seen in combat on Earth, as he had some of the cells from every powerful fighter who walked our planet in the show.
Instagram user drbrickheadz now shows us that Dragon Ball can also go LEGO style, and the outcome is pretty impressive. We can immediately recognize some of the Cell Saga’s warriors: Android 16, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Android 17 and 18, Imperfect Cell, Cell Jr, Perfect Cell, as well as Android 19 and 20.
Surprisingly enough, Goku is nowhere to be found in this scheme. He was one of the decisive heroes in Dragon Ball Z, and not seeing him in the above picture as well is truly heart-breaking for the fans.
