Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Awaits DLC 3 – New Screenshots Revealed for ‘Trunks, the Warrior of Hope’

In the initial Dragon Ball Z storyline, Goku and the gang were close to facing a devastating turn of events along with the arrival of the evil androids created by Dr. Gero. Goku had to be beaten down by a powerful heart virus, while Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, Trunks, and the others had to pointlessly deal with the androids that will spread terror across the entire planet.

It was up to an ingenious time gimmick made by Trunks to stop all that scenario from happening. The son of Vegeta and Bulma came back from the future using a time machine to warn his friends about what awaits them and give Goku the cure for the heart virus. That made the Z warriors prepare severely for the encounter with the mechanical monsters of Dr. Gero and be successful. Meanwhile, Trunks himself have chosen to not remain in his own timeline and give Goku & co a helping hand to confront the androids.

A story without Goku starts early this summer

Early this summer, DLC 3 becomes available in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and will unveil a story without Goku. More precisely, the DLC will speculate what was supposed to happen in Dragon Ball Z if Trunks never travelled back in time to warn his friends about the evil androids built by Dr. Gero. Cell represents the pinnacle of the scientist’s creation, as he is the most powerful android and villain that the Z warriors had to face at that time. Behold new screenshots of the upcoming DLC:

Can Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks and the others defeat the androids without Goku? Once the fighter who defeated Frieza, Goku died because of the heart virus in this alternative reality, leaving the opportunity for his friends to defeat the androids or get defeated by them.
