Wondering where the Lightsabers in Fortnite are? Star Wars has made a comeback thanks to the latest Fortnite 24.30 update, and we couldn’t be more excited!

Star Wars has many fans in the Fornite ‘verse, so it’s no surprise to see the franchise airing on the Island. Also, the Lightsabers are not just cool; they’re also pretty great if you want to block some shots.

Check out the guide below on Star Wars in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

Find Lightsabers in Fortnite: Here’s How

Right now, speaking to a Star Wars character on the map is the only way to actually obtain a Lightsaber in Fortnite. And there goes the best thing ever! When you do this, a Rift Gate will open (similar to the previous event back in Chapter 3), granting you access to a Lightsaber and some pretty cool Force abilities to experiment with. Quite impressive, isn’t it?!

What was best with lightsabers is that they could have been also found as floor loot in prior Star Wars crossovers. However, this time around, it doesn’t seem so! Of course, you may also obtain a Lightsaber by doing it the old style, which is by seizing it from another player after they have been eliminated.

Lightsabers in Fortnite: How to Use One

Finding a Lightsaber is quite approachable, isn’t it?! Well, using one is also easy.

All you have to do is to get close to your opponent because the Lightsabers are melee weapons. To deal damage, use the shoot button (R2 on PS5) to swing, or the aim button (L2 on PS5) to block incoming attacks.

TIP: use a gun as a backup!

How to Block Shots With a Lightsaber?

Blocking any shots with a Lightsaber requires minimum effort, as you only have to use the aim button on your controller/ keyboard right when an enemy player is attacking you.

Even great is that blocking a shot using a Lightsaber is part of the Skywalker Week Quests.
