When it comes to losing weight, our bodies do a lot of work behind the scenes to help us get rid of excess calories. However, sometimes our bodies’ job is a bit harder to figure out – or at least it can be more challenging when combined with stress and emotions. That’s why we want to offer some fair advice regarding how much food to eat each day and how frequently to exercise. Coach Paul Revalia shared his best tips for losing weight quickly.

Calorie deficit

To lose weight, you have to burn more calories than you consume. This can be accomplished in two ways: either by eating less and exercising more (both are referred to as calorie burning), or by decreasing the number of calories you consume each day so that you have fewer calories available to burn when you exercise. Each method has advantages and disadvantages. For example, eating low-calorie diets can be helpful when you are trying to lose weight. Although this diet drastically reduces your food intake, it does not give as much return on energy expended as higher calorie eating, which may be helpful if you are trying to improve your health or maintain your current weight.

Create your own custom diet

Food, Revalia says, is about macronutrients, you need to identify a food routine that works for you. A diet should be customized for every person. You can always put on weight again if you stick with a bad diet. The best part about food is that it gives you the power to create your own perfect nutritionist’s kitchen if you so desire. Of course, he adds, there will always be exceptions to every rule and a little research goes a long way.

Plan ahead

If you are trying to lose weight then you need to find a way for yourself to create routines. This will allow you to focus on the things that are important in order to maintain your current weight. Set a weekly goal and repeat it every week. It may seem easy, but the more consistent you are with this routine, the easier it will be.
