As a new season (and last) of Stranger Things is now underway, the recent news comes a bit as a surprise. Also, with the purchase of an animated series set in the Stranger Things universe, Netflix is extending the reach of the movie brand.

We’ve always dreamed of an animated ‘Stranger Things’ in the vein of the Saturday morning cartoons that we grew up loving, and to see this dream realized has been absolutely thrilling, related the Duff brothers.

Apart from the fact that it was created by Eric Robles and Flying Bark Productions, almost no information about the show is available.
Fanboy & Chum Chum, Glitch Techs, and Random! Cartoons are a few of the animated series Robles has previously produced. But that doesn’t mean we can’t rely a bit on some speculations, right?!

Here’s to the nostalgia! Since its first release in 2016, Stranger Things has established itself as a huge global success and one of Netflix’s most well-liked original programs. And we couldn’t be more excited about a new chapter! Back in February 2022, a fifth and final season was ordered, so seeing that the producers and Netflix don’t want to say goodbye forever to the series, it’s genuinely inspiring.

Can you still remember how the first episode from season 1 of Stranger Things made you feel? How about the last season, where things got pretty wild and kept us wanting more?

Of course, Stranger Things will always be part of us thanks to its incredibly created universe and characters. Oh, and let’s not forget about the plot because that’s where Stranger Things wins big time.
