At a special event that will take place on February 1, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and the other members of the Galaxy S23 family are anticipated to be shown to the public for the first time. At this time, even that isn’t official, but now we have a fresh rumor regarding the Galaxy S24 Ultra, so let’s get to it. The model that succeeds the S23 Ultra is scheduled to appear around the beginning of 2024.

As per Ice Universe, a famous leaker, the telephoto sensor that was used in the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s predecessors will be replaced with a new solution when the Galaxy S24 Ultra is released. Although Ice Universe does not specify which telephoto sensor this pertains to, we are making the assumption that it is the periscope zoom one. On the other hand, the renewal may be applicable to both this and the 3x zoom module at the same time.

On the other hand, the primary camera of the S24 Ultra is expected to either carry over unchanged from the S23 Ultra or undergo just minor modifications – nothing that would be considered a major upgrade. The future S23 Ultra is said to have the same zooming technology as its predecessor, the S22 Ultra. However, the picture quality is said to have been improved because to advancements in color science and “AI algorithms.”

It seems that the picture quality of the zoom will be improved to some degree by the S23 Ultra, but if we wait another year, the S24 Ultra may offer us some really game-changing innovations in technology. When it comes to the primary camera, on the other hand, the most significant update will take place in 2023 with the introduction of a new 200 MP sensor. This sensor will also be used in 2024, however in either an identical or slightly modified form.
