GTA Online is nothing but done with bringing new content despite its impressive longevity. GTA 5, the main game, has been around for about a decade. While everybody is waiting for any official details regarding the long-awaited GTA 6, Rockstar Games continues to invest knowledge and time in the online mode for GTA 5 (aka GTA Online).

The San Andreas Mercenaries update for GTA Online is coming, and it apparently has nothing to do with the major gaming blockbuster known as GTA San Andreas, which came out almost two decades ago. The expansion focuses on more action, more powerful and heavy aircraft, more dangerous situations, and so on. The fans will have a lot of fun, and the best part is that the San Andreas Mercenaries update is only about a week away.

GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries Update arrives on June 13

In less than a week from now, GTA 5 players will have the chance to play the brand new San Andreas Mercenaries Update if they own a legal copy of the game. You know what they say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so feel free to watch the new trailer of the game:

Here’s a relevant description coming from Rockstar Games regarding the upcoming update:

Join up with expert pilot and skilled merc Charlie Reed to lead his new outfit — the Los Santos Angels — on a series of dangerous counter operations to disarm and disrupt the ruthless forces of Merryweather Security, with the chance for you and your friends to earn your own fortunes along the way.

GTA Online: San Andreas Mercenaries will be available on plenty of platforms, so there’s no use being worried that you won’t get to run it. Those platforms are PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, as well as Windows-based PCs.
