EA presents the reveal trailer of FIFA 23, and now there are no more doubts anymore regarding the release date of the football simulation game. The title comes out on September 30, as many of us expected. However, you are free to pre-order the Ultimate Edition of the game by August 21. Such a move will grant you a FIFA World Cup™ FUT Hero item and up to three days of early access.

As we already expected, EA seems to be clearly in favor of gender equality in FIFA 23. After the information went out about the Australian female footballer Sam Kerr being one of the cover stars in the upcoming game, we can now see that the emphasis is not only on men in the new trailer. Football is not only a sport for men but for ladies as well, and the reveal trailer for FIFA 23 reminds us all about that pretty well:

Sam Kerr, the player of the Chelsea female football team, can be seen once again alongside Kylian Mbappé, the young prodigy of PSG and the French National Team. Players will also get to enjoy HyperMotion, more animation, and even more realism than before.

EA also confirms another long-debated feature in FIFA 23: the presence of a World Cup mode. It’s nothing surprising, however, considering that the FIFA World Cup will take place in the real world in Qatar this year in November. For the second World Cup in a row, Italy won’t be there.

EA said:

Experience the pinnacle of international football with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023™ as post-launch content updates at no additional cost. Stay tuned for more details in the build-up to each tournament.

FIFA 23 will be available for PC, Google Stadia, and the usual PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
