‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ is just a few months away from its release, and the fans can already uncover a lot of precious information about what the film will bring to the screens. If you’re a fan of both Goten and Trunks, surely you’ll like what we’re presenting today.

Goten and Trunks (not to be confused with Future Trunks) had been the youngest Super Saiyans back in the day of the Dragon Ball Z anime. The two kids have shown enormous fighting potential. There’s no wonder that they’re the sons of Goku and Vegeta, respectively. Goten and Trunks were even reckoned as having great chances at taking down Majin Buu, and Goku even quit one of his battles with the evil monster only to give them that chance.

Fresh look for Goten and Trunks as teenagers

But the years have passed, and the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie will be presenting the two young fighters once again. But this time, they’ll be teenagers, similar to how they were at the end of the Dragon Ball Z anime. Behold:

They were wearing different clothes back in ‘Z’, and Trunks had a different hair color as far as we know. Goten even seems to have shorter hair this time, resembling his father more. When he was a child, Goten had an almost identical facial resemblance and haircut as Goku.

It’s also likely, judging by the image, that we’ll see the two fighters fusing into Gotenks once again. But this time, Gotenks obviously won’t be a kid anymore, which makes the fusion even more thrilling. It’ll be exciting to find out how powerful Gotenks will be this time!

Our guess is that we’ll see Goten and Trunks at work as they’ll be taking on one of the new androids created by the improved Red Ribbon Army.
