The Dragon Ball legacy never seems to end, and it probably shouldn’t. Both Dragon Ball FighterZ and Kakarot had made impressive impacts in the vast world of video games. There’s no wonder why the Dragon Ball brand deserves to be exploited “even further beyond”.

Bandai Namco is now preparing the release of a brand new Dragon Ball game. Its name will surely upset some fans, but hey, you know what they say to not judge a book by its cover!

“DRAGON BALL: The Breakers” is approaching

The game seems to be revolving around the Cell Saga and how to escape from the diabolical android created by Dr. Gero. We must say that the idea is pretty nice, and we’re pretty sure that it wasn’t exploited by another Dragon Ball game before.

Behold the trailer:

First of all, the game will surely delight a lot of critics of the Dragon Ball Super series. There seem to be no elements from the series whatsoever, as Cell was never seen in the anime. He appeared only in Dragon Ball Z and GT, and for the new game, there probably couldn’t have been a better choice for the hunter’s role.

Cell was introduced in Dragon Ball Z, where he was nurturing himself and getting stronger by absorbing the energy of other fighters and even regular people. Sometimes he would even absorb a human’s flesh entirely. He was established as a little dictator of Earth, as he terrorized a lot of people. The idea of ruling the planet seems to have been inspired from the plot revolving around King Piccolo, one of the major villains from the very first Dragon Ball series when Goku was just a child.

Feel free to tell us what do you think about the upcoming “Dragon Ball: The Breakers” game until now!
