Wondering where are the Guardian Shields in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1? The new items are now available, and they’re pretty great if you want to block some shots.

Epic Games constantly brings tons of new stuff to improve the loadout, including weapons and items, like the Guardian Shields. These things are helpful if you want to complete some challenges and grab that sweet XP to level up your Battle Pass.

We’ve compiled a sleek guide on everything you need to know about the Guardian Shields, including the locations on the map.

Guardian Shields in Fortnite: How to Get Them?

The thing with Guardian Shields in Fortnite is that you can only get them by looking for some Oathbound ChestS, which might be a bit challenging because they’re rare, high-tier chests. The worst part with these chests is that they’re not hard to find, but you might not get your Guardian Shield after all.

Luckily, there’s a way to do that!

BONUS: head to The Citadel because it’s a hotspot for Guardian Shields (there are four Oathbound Chests inside the castle); other popular locations include the Faulty Splits and Shattered Slabs.

How to Block Shots With a Guardian Shield?

Blocking shots with a Guardian Shield is really entertaining and pretty cool! All you have to do is hold down the shoot button (R2 trigger on PS, for example). Or you might as well try to aim and throw the Guardian Shield similar to how you do it with a Chug Splash or a Grenade.

Doing all that while an enemy player shoots at you, you’ll block their bullets successfully! Too bad the Guardian Shield doesn’t last forever. That means you should be careful with it.
