Where is Zayn Malik Now? Singer Discussed His Life For the First Time in Six Years

During his first significant interview in the past six years, Zayn Malik talked about his experiences as a parent, his time with One Direction, and even his efforts to save his pet chicken. Yes, you read correctly! Six years since Zayn opened up in front of a camera. So, we could assume that Zayn is back!

Prior to the debut of his comeback single “Love Like This” on July 21, the former member of One Direction, who is now a solo artist, sat down with Alex Cooper of Call Her Daddy to discuss his time spent in the band, becoming a parent, and how he’s “been in writing mode” recently. New Music

Zayn highlighted his upcoming new project, which is scheduled to premiere this month, and said the following about it:

I’m doing a record I don’t think people are really gonna expect; it’s a different sound for me; […] And it’s got some more narrative going on, like real-life experiences and stuff. My daughter’s mentioned in there a couple of times.

But Zayn also discussed his decision to leave One Direction and the moment he realized it was the right time to do so in the interview. Can you believe it’s been years after the devastating split already?!

He went on to explain that there was a lot of politics going on, that some individuals were doing certain things, and that there were definitely underlying difficulties, such as inside their friendships as well. Looking back, they’ve got it all so perfect, didn’t they?!

His Life Now

Malik mentioned in a different context that he enjoyed cooking and that he kept a number of animals as pets, including three dogs, three tortoises, three cats, and six chickens. Last but not least, he discussed his first kid, Khai, whom he had in 2020 with Gigi Hadid, and how he has done his best to become a “positive example for her. That’s definitely Zayn giving us massive positive vibes! Way to go, Zayn!
