Vivaldi Browser’s New Update Adds Workspaces and Custom Icons

Let’s face it: the most popular browsers out there are NOT perfect, and they will never be. Chrome drains battery power fast, Microsoft Edge might annoy you simply because you don’t like the idea of using a browser that’s built into the OS itself, and the examples could continue.

Above all, you simply might not like any of the most popular browsers out there, whether we’re talking about Chrome, Edge, Mozilla, Opera, and so on. It might all look fine and dandy when you first install such an OS, but the devil is in the details. Everybody finds something to complain about over time when they get used to a certain browser. Furthermore, it’s 2023 out there, when everybody complains about everything!

Thankfully, there are still plenty of alternatives out there. Let’s consider the Vivaldi browser, for instance, which has now been updated to a new version and has some fancy new features up in its sleeve.

Vivaldi’s Workspaces feature can help you get organized

Vivaldi browser has received a new update, and thanks to XDA, we can learn what’s it all about. The new Workspaces feature is in the patch notes, and what it does is that it can allow you to create groups of tabs that are dedicated to a specific topic.

What’s perhaps even more interesting is that you can access Vivaldi’s Workspaces directly from the tab bar.

Custom icons are also there

Another feature that the new Vivaldi update brings is represented by the custom icons. You can therefore use such icons for the numerous browser buttons. You even have the chance to upload your own icon if you’re not a fan of those that are already there. But hurry up, as it’s the early bird that gets the worm.

Whether we like it or not, the elephant in the room is this: there’s no such thing as a perfect browser out there. But there should never be a last straw, as alternatives to a certain browser will always exist.
