Xiaomi 13 Ultra Becomes Official – Check Out the Specs

Xiaomi just launched its new Xiaomi 13 Ultra after formerly unveiling two other devices of the same series back in late 2022. There’s a method to the Chinese company’s madness, as we’re talking about powerful smartphones. Furthermore, Xiaomi 13 Ultra is a true beast!

Jokes aside, for now! No disrespect intended for Xiaomi and its plans regarding the smartphone manufacturing business! It’s great to see that the Chinese brand is back on track with a new flagship phone.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is powering the Xiaomi 13 Ultra

Thanks to GSMArena, we can now take a look at all of the specs of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, meaning the same chipset that exists on all three Samsung Galaxy S23 flagship phones. It’s also the best processor that currently exists on Android phones, at least until the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 comes out.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra also stands out for its powerful display: it’s a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED screen of 120Hz for the refresh rate, while it also features Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The maximum brightness is set at 1200 nits.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra promises to offer pretty much the same photography experience as you can find on a professional camera. The phone features a quad camera setup on the rear, where the main snapper reaches 50.3MP. All three of the other lenses, the periscope photo, telephoto, and ultrawide lens, each reach 50MP. The device can also record videos in up to 8K and at 24fps.

The selfie camera, on the other hand, is pretty suitable for vlogging, as it reaches 32MP and can record video in Full HD quality.

You know what they say that there’s no such thing as a free lunch, and Xiaomi 13 Ultra is no exception. Although the Chinese brand is usually releasing powerful and cheap phones, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra doesn’t quite fit for that description, as it’s priced at about £ 994.99.
