TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Adds Usagi Yojimbo DLC

Tribute Games

Later this year, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge players will be able to play as the incredible Stan Sakai’s ronin rabbit Usagi Miyamoto from the classic manga and beloved anime Usagi Yojimbo. The best part is that the game will also take players on quite the trip between dimensions. Are you excited about the new TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge DLC?

The cute and bold samurai known as Usagi is the main character of Dimension Shellshock, having previously appeared in other cool crossovers with the Ninja Turtles in anime, comics, and, of course, action figures. As previously mentioned, the game will bring several time portals that will transport the rabbit to present-day New York City (how nice is that?!) and the turtles to ancient Japan, both in honor of Usagi, a Japanese historical figure from the Edo period. Quite impressive, isn’t it?!

And there’s more.

Dotemu and Tribute Games have just revealed the extraordinary upcoming DLC, stirring quite the buzz among fans of both series. However, the Dimension Shellshock downloadable content for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge will be available for the PS 4/ 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC later this year, so stay tuned to be the first to know.

Unfortunately, we don’t know yet a price for the new DLC. But we have an awesome teaser trailer for TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, in which a new game mode called Dimension Shellshock is beautifully shown. Check it out below:

In this mode, the turtles fight the waves of Foot troops and evil machinery bravely in their own enclosed “survival” chambers. And if you wish Mike, Leo, Donny, and Raphael to flaunt a more retro appearance, you can totally choose that from a variety of other color schemes for them!

Other features and details in the teaser include several unnamed background figures, a rat-filled Hamato family member, and a man who could be Kitsune from Usagi Yojimbo (fingers crossed!).
