The Elder Scrolls 6 to Use Brand-New Technology in the Creation Process

Recently, Todd Howard has given us an update for The Elder Scrolls 6, and we were not expecting that.

He talks about the new Starfield technology, called Creation Engine 2. “It’s like a new tech base. The vast majority of our development work is on Starfield right now but everybody works on everything, so the projects kind of intertwine.”

Will The Elder Scrolls 6 be here soon?

While there are talks about the new game, it is still years away from launching. The game is still in its design phase, but the creators are looking for a new technology that is going to handle all of their ideas for the game. Every Bethesda game will come with new suites of technology, and Elder Scrolls 6 will have to benefit from Creation Engine 2.

Starfield is another game that was companied by Creation Engine 2, but for this one, we have a release date: 11th November 2022. The game will be available for PC, and then Xbox Series X and S, and then Xbox Game Pass.

A new map in works?

Fans said they spotted a map tease for The Elder Scrolls 6 in a new trailer for Starfield on YouTube. Does this mean that the development of these two games is overlapping? We’ll only live to find out.

Now about the map: at around 1 minute and 17 seconds, we see an astronaut starting his starship by flipping three switches on the dashboard — a classic. On the right-hand side on the screen, there is a new mysterious map. Will it be part of The Elder Scrolls 6? Is this an Easter egg? Fans think so, and they started commenting on the internet, hoping to find out more. We’re in for a ride guys, that’s for sure.
