Sony unveiled a new controller for PlayStation 5 consoles, and it’s said to be the first-ever high-performance and ultra-customizable controller that was built by the famous gaming company. Known as the DualSense Edge wireless controller, the tool is capable of allowing gamers to create custom controls, and it can even invite you “to craft your own unique gaming experience tailored to your playstyle.”
But why exactly is the DualSense Edge wireless controller so special? There are several strong reasons. Besides the fact that the controller offers ultra-customizable controls, it is also capable of saving multiple control profiles, granting an on-controller user interface, featuring changeable stick caps and back buttons, and more.
For instance, changeable stick caps and back buttons refer to the fact that the new PS5 controller has three types of swappable stick caps known as standard, high dome, and low dome. These are designed to allow the player to remain comfortable in games while maintaining his stability and grip.
