More and more exclusive Pokemon Sword and Shield codes are now available, and we couldn’t be more excited! Game Freak will release new codes in the US, this time for two of the rarest ‘mon in the Galar Region: Shiny Zacian and Shiny Zamazenta.
By signing up for the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter, Pokemon Sword and Shield players get a chance to scoop up various codes for Shiny ‘mon.

How to Get the Free Codes
If you’re looking to grab free codes for the Zacian and Zamazenta event, you’ll have to pick them up at GameStop in the US!
The codes will be officially released on October 22 for all players. Zamazenta is exclusive to Sword and Zacian to Shield.
Shiny Zacian and Shiny Zamazenta Codes: the Release Date
These are the dates, according to PokeBeach:
- Shiny Zacian event – October 22 – November 11
- Shiny Zamazenta: November 12-26
And here’s how you can claim the codes:
- Open Pokemon Sword and Shield
- Go to the menu (press X) and choose ‘Mystery Gift’ (the pink icon)
- Choose the ‘Get A Mystery Gift’ option
- Pick the ‘Get With Code/ Password’ option
- Grab your free Shiny ‘mon!
Where Can You Get Free Shiny Zacian and Shiny Zamazenta Codes
The first batch of free codes will be available for Pokemon Sword and Shield players from Japan and Korea sometime mid-October.
The codes will be later available in the US via GameStop from October 22. There will be more codes available across Australia and Europe, so stay tuned!
