Demon Slayer Season 2: Episode One Reveals a Most-Awaited Story

The second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is here, and we got an amazing first episode, in which we learned more about Kyojuro Rengoku. We also learned how the Flame Hashira got the bento boxes.

In the first episode, we see what Rengoku was doing before Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke found him in Mugen Train. We learn that Flame Hashira wanted to investigate the train, but he found out about another threat around the train station.

There is also another demon, a very fast one, lurking the ekiben vendors, and Rengoku is here to help. We see one bento box seller and her grandmother being threatened. Flame Hashira tells the demon it is too slow. Rengoku’s father has helped them before, and, after the fight, he promises to tell his father about the grandmother. We know for sure that he won’t tell his father about the ekiben vendors.

The first episode had us prepared for the next six episodes, in which we’ll see the Mugen Train arc. That means more of Rengoku until episode 7. These parts were adapted in the last year’s Demon Slayer: Mugen Train. The story is great, and it is worth watching. The Japanese animation studio which develops the series, Ufotable surely does a great job.

After that, we’ll see the Entertainment District arc in December.

The next episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is called Deep Sleep, and we will see more of Enmu’s spell on the passengers on the train. We will enjoy the second episode on the 17th of October, 2021.
