Pokemon SORS ROM Hack – Here’s All You Need to Know About it!

Source: pokemoncoders.com

Pokemon SORS is a ROM hack of FireRed but with graphics that look a lot like games from NDS.

Obviously, making a game look so different from its base ROM entails a lot of effort which is why the final result is so impressive and loved by many gamers in the community.

Not to mention the extra effort of adding mostly new music to it, as well as a couple of old songs for some added nostalgia!

And that’s not even all! The game also features a new form – the Eclipse type – so don’t forget to check it out if you decide to play this game.

As you may be aware, many Pokemon ROM hacks do their best to emphasize the story and Pokemon SORS is no exception.

SORS offers players many hours of enjoyment and an immersive story you’ll want to know more and more about as you advance.

To help you do just that, we have also gathered a number of cheats to enhance the gaming experience and make it all smooth and less challenging.

300 years prior to the game’s action, there was an event known as “The Eclipse” in the Hupest Region.

During this eclipse, many Pokemon were getting different forms and going wild and in the present timeline, some villain groups seek to recreate the event.

The player’s mission is to find out where this recreation is going to take place.

Given this background, it makes perfect sense that the Eclipse-type was added to the game.

But while available, this type is really rare and only a couple of Pokemon have it.

The roster goes up to Gen 7 with around 700 Pokemon and around 40 Eclipse-type ones.

As mentioned before, the visuals have been improved and changed to resemble DS games such as HGGS and B2W2 and new sound and music have also been added.

You can enjoy these new additions as you explore the Hupest Region, taking the experience to another level!

Aside from that, you will be pleased to learn that a few new side quests have also been added to the game.

Other features include: the day and night cycle, a soaring feature that allows the player character to fly over terrains, physical/special split, and Pokemon sors.
