Lifeweaver, a new hero in Overwatch 2, has stirred quite the buzz among players with his default controls, and now the developers have a good purpose for it. Lifeweaver has a distinctive design, excellent vertical movement, and strong game-saving Life Grip skills, so what else could you ask for?! But, some players have some doubts about the character’s controls, especially those referring to his damage-dealing secondary. So, the devs decided to change something and improve players in-game experience.

Lifeweaver’s New Control Changes

The upcomign Lifeweaver’s control changes have been confirmed by Aaron Keller, the Overwatch 2 game director. He stated in a tweet that the team was considering “alternative control methods” to replace Lifeweaver’s current controls. You can check the official announcement below:

Unfortunately, Keller did not go into further information about the next changes, not even the actual reasons behind only making the changes after the game had already been released. That’s quite curious, isn’t it?

Despite the fact that Lifeweaver is still very new, maybe some of the anticipated adjustments will be put into place early in Season 4 before Lifeweaver finally goes live in ranked. Are you excited about this change?

Blizzard Entertainment’s game-hit Overwatch 2 is a 2022 first-person shooter video game that was widely joyfully welcomed. The game’s goal is to provide the perfect shared world for PvP scenarios. It also comes with persistent cooperative options as a successor and replacement to the massive-hit 2016 hero shooter Overwatch.

Moreover, the unexpected reduction of team numbers from six to five in PvP games was a curious yet significant adjustment. A number of other cool and intriguing characters were also revised.

What’s best is that soon, on October 4, 2023, Overwatch 2 will launch for free on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 6, Windows, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. It will also fully support full cross-platform play.
