With the new year right around the corner, OnePlus revealed a great surprise for all the fans by announcing that the brand new OnePlus 11 and the OnePlus Buds Pro are coming a month earlier in China than in the West!

As you may be aware, the international release has been slated for February 7 but in China, it’s officially happening on January 4!

Whether you live in China or not, this is still good news as we’ll all get a first look at the OnePlus 11 much earlier than expected.

The separate launch was confirmed by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau, the founder making it very clear that a separate launch was in the plans in his home country.

As mentioned before, the exciting launch is happening on January 4 at 2:30 pm or 1:30 am EST.

Other than finally getting an official look at the model in person, there is nothing much else to discover for the first time since most of the specs have been confirmed by the Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center already.

That being said, the OnePlus 11 offers a 6.7-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with an impressive 3,216 x 1,440 pixels resolution and a dynamic refresh rate between 1 and 120 hertz.

Of course, as you may be aware, this is nothing unexpected or revolutionary since the same panel type can also be found in the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Furthermore, the upcoming model also features a 16-megapixel front camera as well as a fingerprint sensor at the very bottom.

But what really differentiates it from its predecessor is the storage update since the OnePlus 11 has a baseline of 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB of internal UFS 4.0 storage.

Aside from that, an alternative has a whopping 16 GB of working storage as well as 512 GB of program storage.

Furthermore, given the criticism for the OnePlus 10 T’s missing Alert Slider and Hasselblad cooperation, it looks like the company has listened and made sure to include both of these elements and this can be seen in a teaser video.

You will also notice the LED flash and three camera lenses forming a square shape together.

The main camera is 50 MP and is based on a Sony IMX890 image sensor.

Then you will also have a 48 MP ultra-wide-angle lens (IMX581) and a 32 MP RGBW telephoto zoom camera (IMX709) offering 2x lossless magnification.

The speakers are stereo, and the model also comes with Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and a rich Dolby Atmos sound.

The battery’s capacity is 5,000 mAh and can be charged using the 100-watt SuperVOOC power adapter that comes with the phone.
