It’s only a matter of time until we’ll see a different Gohan than ever before. In the upcoming ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ movie, Goku’s son will be confronting powerful new androids created by the Red Ribbon Army.

Speculations kept flooding the internet regarding Gohan’s new abilities. Various sources claim that we’ll see a new transformation of the mighty warrior, and the new trailer confirms that we can expect pretty much anything. What’s for sure is that Gohan will be in the situation when he needs to protect his daughter Pan, and it shall be interesting to see how he’ll do in such a state.

Behold the new trailer in question:

There are a lot of Gohan fans among the Dragon Ball lovers who were waiting to see Goku’s son shine again. All hints show that we can expect it for sure in the upcoming movie that will release somewhere around April. Gohan will have to play the role of a protective father, as Pan seems to get into some trouble. He’ll get a lot of help from Piccolo, meaning his very first trainer. The two fighters have proven to make a great team throughout the Dragon Ball franchise, and we’re eagerly waiting to see once again how they’ll be collaborating with one another.

As far as we can judge from the trailers we’ve seen until now, it looks like Goku and Vegeta will be left out of the spotlight this time. Instead, we expect that the movie will grant the chance for other fighters to shine, and Gohan will likely get the main role this time. This isn’t too surprising, however, considering that Dragon Ball Super has been focusing too much on Goku and Vegeta. Gohan has the potential of keeping up with them in strength, and we can expect that he’ll prove it in the upcoming movie!
