The new iPhone is still a few months away, but if you’re an Apple lover, you’ll be excited to hear that this year’s models will be really remarkable thanks to the inclusion of a USB-C connector. A release for these devices is still a few months away, but if recent renderings are to be believed, we may soon get our first glimpse at Apple’s iPhone 15.

New enders were built by 9to5Mac’s team using CAD data the site was able to access. Seeing that the iPhone 15 first seems to be very identical to the iPhone 14, there isn’t a whole lot to be excited about. Nevertheless, if you look closely, you may see that the display area has been altered, suggesting that the future device would not include a notch but rather Apple’s Dynamic Island. The Dynamic Island was the highlight of the iPhone 14 Pro from the previous year, providing a novel method for people to engage with the device. While Apple hasn’t done much with it since its introduction, it’s promising to see that all future iPhones will have the same design language. The same source also claims that the iPhone 15’s screen size would increase to 6.2 inches. The USB-C connector, which can be seen on the bottom of the device in the illustration, is the most noticeable departure from the current model.

Nothing has been officially announced by Apple, so we can only speculate and cross our fingers that the renderings and rumors are correct. Still, additional details are sure to emerge here and there as the release date draws nearer. The unauthorized leak of the iPhone 15 Pro last week was perhaps the most noteworthy development. Renders have shown that the Pro variant would have a much bigger back camera and a more rounded, attractive look. A solid-state button upgrade is reported to be another intriguing addition to the Pro model.
