Hogwarts Legacy – Best Harry Potter Easter Eggs

screenrant.com

People who are familiar with all the Harry Potter books and movies could have guessed that Hogwarts Legacy would be full of oddities and mysteries, but it’s possible that they didn’t plan on the large number of complex, specific references to the main series itself.

Basically, the whole game is a homage to what came before it, but a few tricky mysteries give a subtle hint to some of its most famous parts.

The finest Easter eggs in Hogwarts Legacy may be found by wandering around the castle and Hogsmeade, and even if locating them won’t always award players legendary armor or loot, they are still very much worth the satisfaction of stumbling upon them.

Directly honoring Harry Potter and his pals in the game would be impossible given that it takes place 100 years before the events of the movies and novels, but clever Easter eggs peppered through are still expected given the amount of lore.

In fact, the finest Easter eggs in Hogwarts Legacy need a little more exploration of the map which only makes discovering them more rewarding.

With that being said, here are some of the best Easter eggs in Hogwarts Legacy!

Secrets of the Darkest Arts Book

The finest Easter egg in Hogwarts Legacy may just be concealed yet easily accessible in the Restricted Section of the Library.

Sebastian Sallow will help gamers sneak past this prohibited location, where they can find a bizarre, floating book.

After disclosing that book is titled Secrets of the Darkest Arts, Sebastian will make a comment about it and then profess his appreciation for the subject, which is rather chilling for Harry Potter fans.

This is because it is the same book that Tom Riddle used to study about Horcruxes while attending Hogwarts.

Chamber of Secrets Hint

The protagonist may still experience the legendary underground lair even if the Chamber of Secrets is regrettably not accessible in the game, thanks to an Easter egg.

Players will run into some familiar sinks in the girls’ lavatory near the Slytherin common room. They may notice a snake emblem etched into one of the faucets if they look closely enough.

The snake etching is acknowledged on the Field Guide Page close by, which adds that no one (yet) is aware of its significance.

Sirius Black’s Jail Cell

In Hogwarts Legacy, there is an Easter egg that alludes to Sirius Black. Players will come to find a single, enigmatically sealed cell after passing through Professor Ronen’s office and continuing up the spiraling tower.

The Dark Tower Cell was once used to imprison a troll, according to a Field Guide Page discovered within, but it also raises the possibility that its future usage is unknown.

Well, this is actually the location where Sirius Black was briefly detained in the Prisoner of Azkaban film.

The Deathday Party

Nearly Headless Nick occasionally hosts deathday celebrations for himself and his ghostly friends and in the game, players have the chance to attend one of these banquets.

Numerous spirits are conversing, dancing, and in one especially entertaining exchange, ridiculing each other during the deathday celebration.
