We have to admit that life with the Google Assistant app on your wrist becomes a lot more fun. Instead of pulling out your smartphone in order to tell it what to do for you, you can as well use the famous virtual assistant from a smartwatch as well.

Fossil Gen 6 smartwatches now have Google Assistant as well, as a new Reddit post reveals, and as Notebookcheck has 9to5Google has discovered. This marks the opportunity for users to quickly give their Fossil smartwatches the right command in order to solve their problems and demands.

The Wear OS 3 upgrade initially removed Google Assistant from certain smartwatches, such as Fossil models. However, an update has now been released, bringing Google Assistant back to Fossil Gen 6 smartwatches.

The Assistant comes pre-loaded and offers improved speed and capabilities compared to the previous version that was used on Wear OS 2. The new expansion of Google Assistant on Fossil watches may indicate future availability for the wider Wear OS 3 ecosystem.
