Exciting news for the fans! The upcoming TV series adaptation of the Fallout video game series set to be released on Amazon Prime Video appears to have finished filming!

After being announced back in 2020, Fallout only started filming last summer, remaining shrouded in secrecy.

And although fans are still impatiently awaiting their first substantial look at what this live-action Fallout series will look like, it appears that a trailer is finally getting closer to being shared with the public.

Walton Goggins, a Fallout star, recently announced on Instagram that the filming for his individual scenes in the series has officially wrapped up!

Goggins didn’t specify whether or not Fallout’s overall filming was also finished, however, but given the fact that he is one of the show’s lead actors, it does seem likely that the most intensive stage of production for the series is now complete.

Goggins did not add much more when discussing Fallout as a whole, but he did call it a “f**king tsunami” later on so it really sounds like it has a lot to offer.

As already mentioned, Bethesda and Amazon have kept a lot of the Fallout development a secret from the public so as not to spoil it for us all.

At this time, it is known that the show’s plot will not be based on any particular Fallout video game.

In spite of this, set photos that were accidentally released revealed that the series appeared to draw heavily from Fallout 3 as well as Fallout 4, in particular, although it is likely that a mix of all of them as well as some new elements, will be added.

Given that Fallout 3 and 4 are the most well-known Fallout saga entries, it is not surprising to learn that Amazon Studios is basing its fictional universe mainly on these works, however.

Although Fallout has no official release date as of yet, it appears that the series may end up arriving on Prime Video either in late 2023 or in early 2024.

The show will also feature other big names, including Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan,  Xelia Mendes-Jones, Mike Doyle, and Aaron Moten in addition to Goggins.
