The Granolah arc finally met its end after a long struggle from both Goku and Vegeta to defeat Gas. It seems that the two Saiyan warriors will have to face an even more powerful threat than ever before, and now there is confirmation for a brand new arc coming to the manga!

It’s awesome to find out that Dragon Ball still has something in store for the fans in 2022, although there’s only a bit more than a month left of the current year. Perhaps nobody would have guessed that the Dragon Ball Super Manga would bring a brand new arc so soon.

The new Dragon Ball Super Manga arc is set for December 2023

There’s a new arc in the works for the manga version of Dragon Ball Super, and it seems that it will have a lot to do with the latest movie of the legendary franchise. Known as Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the movie that came out this year will surely remain in the memory of the fans for a very long time, as it brought some new transformations for Gohan and Piccolo.

At this point, it’s anybody’s guess who can be the villain of the upcoming arc.

Goten and Trunks will receive a lot more attention from the writers in the upcoming arc. That shouldn’t surprise anyone, although the two Saiyans had been left aside for the most part of Dragon Ball Super. They are, after all, the sons of Goku and Vegeta, respectively.

We also haven’t seen Goten and Trunks in the latest arc of the Dragon Ball Super anime, meaning back in 2018 during the Tournament of Power. Surely they could have been helpful, although their power levels are nowhere near the ones of the main Z squad. It’s great to see that, finally, judging by the poster, Goten and Trunks will have some important contributions to the new arc.
