Blizzard has now made public the opening cinematic for Diablo 4 ahead of its release later this year.

As Blizzard also finally revealed the date for the game’s beta, this was not the only great news related to the upcoming Diablo installment.

It will take fans about a month to play Diablo 4 however, but this first look at the game will have to do for now, making the wait a little less painful.

The introduction trailer for Diablo 4 was unveiled by Blizzard on social media.

Fans are always really excited when it comes to Blizzard cinematics, especially those for Diablo.

While this Diablo 4 introductory trailer isn’t very intense, it does seem to get the game’s story going.

The trailer was shared on Twitter, along with a caption that simply reads: “A new chapter in the war against Hell begins. Witness the in-game intro of #DiabloIV.”

As previously noted, the beta for Diablo 4 will eventually begin in March, only a few months before the game’s scheduled release.

Only those who have placed a pre-order will be able to participate in the game’s limited beta test, which runs from March 17 to March 19.

The release date of Diablo 4 is set for June 6, in case you haven’t already marked that day on your calendar.

When it does, it will be available on the PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.

In the meantime, if you wish to learn more about the game, check out the official description!

It reads: “The endless battle between the High Heavens and Burning Hells rages on as chaos threatens to consume Sanctuary.
