Demon Slayer Season 2 – Current Status And Release Date

Demon Slayer is one of the most popular animated manga series of all time. It premiered in 2019, and it took fans by surprise back then, thanks to its amazing battles and visuals, which helped it reach a vast audience and gain popularity.

It’s normal that fans are now eagerly waiting for Demon Slayer Season 2.

Well, you will be happy to learn that the wait is finally over.

The series will finally return to screens across the world for a new season thanks to the huge success of the first one, which set multiple records.

There is no official release date for the moment, but Demon Slayer 2 has been announced as part of the Fall 2021 anime calendar.

Though the release date of the second season is yet to be known, it will premiere soon, thankfully.

The 2nd season has been announced to premiere this year via a Twitter post, which also mentioned that it would run through the autumn and winter.

The announcement was made by the official page of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which stated that the series would run on Fuji TV.

UK and US viewers can watch Demon Slayer on Funimation.

The trailer for the second season was introduced back in May.

Tanjiro Kamado seems to be prepared to fight against demons in that video.

It is safe to say that the series will be premiered sometime in October this year, probably in the second half.

We are positive that the developers of Demon Slayer will soon make an announcement regarding the premiere date, so stay tuned for more information on the subject!

In the meantime, here is the trailer for the second season, again showcasing the interesting animation style and foreshadowing bits of the story:
