The Dragon Ball franchise continues to be very active and ingenious. The events from the manga version of Dragon Ball Super are as intense as they can be, and the video games aren’t any different. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will receive a new update soon enough, and a new trailer video shows us what exactly to expect.

Entitled “Legendary Pack 2”, the new DLC will come as a free update tomorrow, November 4th! Dragon Ball fans will get to see Fuu unleashing his devastating powers, as well as characters such as Jiren, Broly, or Gogeta as they’ll be up for nothing peaceful in the game.

Broly vs. Jiren: an unforgettable clash

Broly never met Jiren in the storyline of Dragon Ball Super, but when it comes to video games, everything is possible! Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 does just that, allowing for Jiren to confront Broly in an unforgettable battle. Behold the footage:

However, we’re pretty sure that judging by how things unfolded in Dragon Ball Super, Broly would mop the floor with Jiren. The mad Saiyan has shown in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie from 2018 that it was ultimately needed for Goku and Vegeta to fuse into Gogeta to stand a chance against him. If we remember Jiren from the Tournament of Power, Goku at Super Saiyan Blue level could still land a punch on him or two. However, Dragon Ball almost always makes its characters stronger overnight, so Jiren could easily “update” to be a real challenge for Broly. What’s for sure is that both fighters are incredibly powerful.

We can see a lot of other interesting characters in the trailer, such as Kale, Future Trunks, Frieza, and even Bardock, the father of Goku. All of the action from the trailer can mean only one thing: the DLC will surely be worth installing, and Broly vs. Jiren will be one hell of a battle!
