With the seemingly spontaneous drop of Sonic Colors: Ultimate, the selection of fantastic Sonic the Hedgehog titles available to Steam users just got bigger!

Sega brought Sonic Colors: Ultimate to the popular PC gaming platform without giving players any prior notice and only informed them after the game had already become available.

Sega simply took to Twitter to excitedly announce: “Surprise! Sonic Colors: Ultimate is available on Steam NOW!”

As you are probably aware, in September of 2021, the remaster was made available for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, among other platforms.

However, Steam users were left out at the time, much to their disappointment, but now, it appears that they are finally making it up to them for that unfortunate omission.

Colors: Ultimate is currently available for only $27.99, down from its regular price of $39.99.

This great offer will be available until February 13 so do not miss out!

In 2010, Sonic Colors made its Nintendo Wii debut.

The game rapidly became popular among players despite its release during a difficult period of time for the Sonic brand.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate, the remastered version of the original game, was published by Sega in 2021.

The remaster included a lot of enhancements, such as increased performance and graphics.

Younger players will probably like the addition of unlimited continues in Ultimate, which rewards players for earning higher rankings rather than penalizing them for having some trouble with the stages of the game.

The 2021 PS4 edition has great visuals and gameplay, but many people feel that the cut scenes lacked the same level of visual betterment as the game overall.

Finally, Sonic Colors: Ultimate is quite frequently ranked alongside classics like Sonic Mania and Sonic CD, so it only makes sense that such a great game should be available for all gamers no matter their preferred platforms.
