We can’t expect that Apple will jump the gun during its upcoming WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) 2023 event with the new MacBook that the company is working on. Apple is generally known to avoid cutting corners and doing its best to assure that everything is well done, and there’s interesting news up ahead regarding future MacBooks.

A larger MacBook Air of 15-inches, an updated MacBook Pro of 13 inches, as well as an updated MacBook Air of 13 inches are currently in the works. MacBooks are generally considered more efficient than laptops and therefore have a strong fanbase, although there are plenty of voices that criticize Apple’s gadgets for other reasons.

What the WWDC 2023 event will be hosting

The WWDC 2023 event will take place in June, and it will mark the official announcement of at least some of the MacBooks mentioned above, according to Mark Gurman via Bloomberg. There are plenty of hints indicating that the WWDC event of this year will represent one of Apple’s biggest product launch events.

However, Apple will come with its bag full at the event, as we’re not talking only about MacBooks here. The Cupertino-based tech giant will also reveal a mixed-reality headset, new versions of its operating system for iPhones and iPads, a new xrOS operating system, and a major update for the smartwatch operating system.

To summarize, here’s what Apple is planning to unveil at the WWDC 2023 event:

  • Brand new MacBooks
  • The Reality headset, which marks the first major new Apple product category in many years
  • A new xrOS operating system and software development kit
  • iOS 17
  • iPadOS 17
  • macOS 14
  • A main watchOS 10 update

By far, the most important addition of Apple for the upcoming tech event is represented by the Reality headset, but who knows, maybe tech experts will reckon other new tech toys as being superior.
