Twitter, what’s going on?! Recent issue scares the hell out of users, and we clearly can’t understand what actually went wrong. Similar to Instagram’s Close Friends, Twitter released the new Circle function back in 2022. With this new feature, any users can post information that only certain individuals will view, meaning their relatives and friends. But a recent bug makes everything visible to random users on the social network, and it appears that Twitter Circle tweets are no longer so secret. What should we do?!

Definitely not trusting Twitter! Several Twitter users have reported seeing Circle messages from individuals they don’t follow. The issues started around last week. The thing is that those tweets appeared on the For You tab, which presents algorithmically selected material. That’s just insane! Check out below an example of a “shared” tweet from a user:

Users may even at put at risk if someone publishes important information with their circle and a tweet about it leaks tosocial network members network, raising doubts about the users’ ability to trust Twitter. Just imagine the damage! Many of us use the feature to express personal and intimate ideas about our life because this is the actual purpose of Twitter Circle. Now, we really should be careful and use the feature with caution.

What happened to Twitter?!

After Elon Musk purchased Twitter and let go of a number of important staff, including engineers, the app has been plagued by several significant issues, some of which caused real emotional damage that users didn’t even see it coming. Another thing that happened was a few weeks ago. A significant outage on the social network and even some of its source code were posted online.

And that’s not all.

Twitter made some adjustments to the “For You” tab back in March, and as a result, a lot more tweets from accounts that users don’t follow are now displayed there. What a mess! The strangest thing ever, though, is that it actually displays Elon Musk’s tweets to non-followers. Could you believe that?!

All these changes seem to have broken how Twitter works – or should work. Who knows what’s next?
