The famous Dragon Ball franchise will soon bring its “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” movie to the big screens, meaning a brand new adventure for Goku & co. But this time, the main action might not be around Goku. Of course, the beloved Saiyan represents the reason why the Red Ribbon Army has been improved.

The evil organization has appointed a new smart scientist who has to create new and powerful androids. These mechanical beasts will have to take down Goku, although they’ll run into Gohan and Piccolo. Goku’s son and his first trainer will likely be the stars of the show this time, judging by the trailer, official statements, and rumors that we have.

An exhilarating interview

There’s important info about a recent interview with Tetsuro Kodama. We all know that the upcoming movie will be based on CG animation, which is a premiere in Dragon Ball history. The director wants the fans to pay close attention to the animation and its details.

Here’s what Kodama said, as ComicBook.com reveals:

For this film, we have created detailed settings for accessories, costumes, vehicles, etc., which will make you say, ‘Even these things have the RR mark?!’

He also continued by saying, as the same source quotes:

I would be glad if you could pay attention to such details. Hope you enjoy the show!

“Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” was supposed to come out on April 22, but a recent hack of the Toei Animation studio caused a delay in the release date of the film. There’s no telling at this point when the movie will come out, and the best thing we can do is remain patient.

Feel free to tell us about your own expectations regarding the upcoming Dragon Ball movie! What do you think will happen with Gohan and the rest of the Z warriors?
