There’s no use beating around the bush – Rebellion hasn’t always been diligent enough with the Sniper Elite series when it comes to bringing some error-free titles. Sniper Elite 3, which came out in 2014, was an amazing tactical stealth shooter for its time, but it drove many of us insane because of its numerous bugs!

Sniper Elite 5 came out last month, and although it was generally received well by the fans, it also brought a lot of bugs onboard. It’s simply embarrassing for a company like Rebellion to see the protagonist of one of its games having a disappearing weapon in his hands, for instance. But the renowned British developer promises to fix that!

Update 1.06 for Sniper Elite 5 came out on June 27

There are many fixes included in the new 1.06 update for Sniper Elite 5 that came out yesterday, June 27. So many that it’s difficult to mention them all! But that’s not everything included in the update, which is a massive one. Feel free to check for yourself:

You can buy the game from Steam for 49.99 euros if you want the standard version. The Deluxe version costs 30 euros more.

Here’s how the game’s description from the gaming service sounds:

The award-winning series returns as Karl Fairburne fights to uncover Project Kraken in 1944 France. The genre-defining authentic sniping, with enhanced kill cam, has never looked or felt better as you fight across immersive maps to stop the Nazi war machine in its tracks.

Otherwise, you sure get to have a lot of fun playing Sniper Elite 5. For instance, shooting Hitler in his “pride” will grant you a special reward in the game.

Sniper Elite 5 was released on May 26 for PC and the usual consoles: Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. We don’t have information about a possible release for Nintendo Switch as well at some point in the future, but only time will decide.
