Learn the ins and outs of activating Sims 4 cheats
- Before you can enter any cheat codes in The Sims 4, you must activate cheats. Be aware, though, that if you activate cheats in this save, you will not be able to earn any trophies or achievements.
- When playing on a PC, press Ctrl + Shift + C to access the cheat console. Then, the testing phase can begin. This save is legit, and it will be hacked soon.
- It only takes a few seconds of pressing and holding LT + RT + LB + RB on an Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S controller to bring up the cheat menu. To allow cheats in this save, select the testingCheats true option from the cheat menu that appears.
- In order to access the cheat menu on a PS4 or PS5, you must press and hold the following buttons: L1 + L2 + R1 + R2. When it does, enter testingCheats true to turn on cheats in this universe.
Guidelines for Entering Cheat Codes in The Sims 4
In The Sims 4, enabling hacks is one thing, but actually using them is another. Most commonly, you’ll utilize a cheat code to do this:
- Fire up the game, and select a world.
- Use the shortcut to access the cheat menu.
- Testing
- Finish by pressing the Done button.
- To activate a cheat, enter it into the top-left text box.
- After you press Finish, the cheat will take effect.
- Only the Interaction Cheats deviate from this approach, and their activation is handled slightly differently. You must remain in a testing environment. If you want to use the cheats, you must first activate them as described below (depending on your platform of choice).
If you’re playing The Sims 4 on PS4 or PS5, and you’ve already set testingCheats true, you can access the Interaction Cheats menu by moving the cursor over a Sim or an object while holding Circle and then pressing X.
In order to access the Interaction Menu on an Xbox One, Xbox Series X, or Xbox Series S with testingCheats set to true, press and hold B.
