Shadow Stone Locations Revealed in Fortnite Season 8: How to Phase Near a Player

Source: Epic Games

Fortnite v18.30 update came with a bunch of great stuff, including the Cube Queen Secret Skin.

Now, all players are looking to complete all the Cube Queen quests and grab the rewards. One of the quests has players find a Shadow Stone or Flopper and phase near an enemy. How hard could that be?

Unfortunately, those items aren’t marked on the map, so you need to do extra work.

We’ve got you covered, and below you’ll find all the locations and some tips and tricks.

Shadow Stones in Fortnite Season 8: Where to Find Them

The Shadow Stones can be found near any UFO crash site on the ground. Luckily, all the crash sites can be spotted on the map at the edge of those strange orange biomes that came out from The Convergence at the heart of the Island.

BONUS: land at a crash site and search for a little purple cube on the ground.

After you find a Shadow Stone, consume it (you can see below), and you’ll finally continue your quest.

Shadow Floppers in Fortnite Season 8: Where to Find Them

Shadow Floppers are a bit different than Shadow Stones, meaning that you have to go fishing to get some. How cool is that?

EXTRA TIP: head to Misty Meadows for the best fishing spot.

How to Phase Near a Player in Just 3 Seconds

Consuming a Shadow Stone or Flopper will make you phase, meaning you’ll turn somehow into a purple ghost. You’ll even start floating quickly around the Island, so don’t worry, it’s perfectly fine!

Phasing near a player in just 3 seconds is pretty easy, but for the best results, try to consume a Shadow Stone or Flopper while there’s an opponent nearby. The effect will last only for a short amount of time!
