Samsung is preparing a new set of foldable devices, namely the Galaxy Z Fold5 and the Galaxy Z Flip5. The South Korean giant has already proven that it can bring powerful devices that can be folded, but it’s time to take things to a new level.

Samsung is preparing to unveil its new Galaxy Z Flip5 foldable device during an event that will take place in late July. Until that time, let’s find out new exciting news about the future phone, shall we?

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will cost €1,299 for the 8/128GB version

GSMArena has discovered, due to a Greek website, that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space will cost 1,299 euros. Considering that the predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 that came out last year, was priced at 1,099 euros for the 8/128GB version, we can say that the upcoming Flip5 costs a bit more than expected, although it should have superior specs.

Gladly, we already know plenty of the specifications that the Galaxy Z Flip5 will feature. The device will come with 8/12GB of RAM, Android 13 out of the box, and it shall be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor from Qualcomm. The main display of the device will be a foldable Dynamic AMOLED screen that reaches 6.7 inches and has a refresh rate of 120Hz. As for the cover display, Samsung isn’t being sloppy in this area as well: the screen is of Super AMOLED type, it reaches 3.4 inches, and it’s protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+.

Both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 are expected to feature IP58 protection level against dust and water. In other words, once you’ll buy such a foldable device, you won’t have to worry too much if you use it on a rainy day.
