Red Dead Redemption 2 Receives Surprising Update

Source: PlayStation

Red Dead Redemption 2 remains incredibly fun to play for those who like survival western games with open-world elements. Whether you enjoy playing the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, or Windows PC, Rockstar has a surprise for you. The company released an unexpected update for RDR2, according to ComicBook.com.

Since everybody was waiting for new content such as missions, weapons, and more of that kind, it won’t be the case this time. However, bug fixes can be more useful than any new content, and that’s exactly what Rockstar is targeting along with this new update. Players had to run into some very nasty trouble while advancing through the game, and it’s nice to see that Rockstar brings a fix.

Fixes for two major bugs

The patch notes reveal that the issue causing players to get stuck at 50 percent during the loading screen was patched. Also, players had trouble losing their 25 Capitale setup fee when they were disconnected during the Covington Emerald Opportunity while on Ruthless difficulty. That issue was fixed by the new update as well.

Nobody’s a fan of game crashes, and those from Rockstar know it very well. There’s no wonder why the company have also fixed a number of crashes as well as a problem that causes the players to get disconnected from RDR2.

As the description says on the dedicated Steam page:

Winner of over 175 Game of the Year Awards and recipient of over 250 perfect scores, RDR2 is the epic tale of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the infamous Van der Linde gang, on the run across America at the dawn of the modern age. Also includes access to the shared living world of Red Dead Online.

What’s next for Red Dead Redemption 2? We’ll soon find out, as Rockstar always finds ways to amaze us!
