Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 holds the supremacy for now

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is currently the most powerful processor for smartphones that run on Android. The new Samsung Galaxy S23 series, for instance, runs on the top-end chipset. This cutting-edge processor is known for its top-of-the-line performance and impressive speed, making it a great choice for users who demand the best performance from their smartphone.

Under the hood, the Galaxy S23 packs an octa-core processor, comprising of 1×3.36 GHz Cortex-X3, 2×2.8 GHz Cortex-A715, 2×2.8 GHz Cortex-A710, and 3×2.0 GHz Cortex-A510 cores. This means that the Galaxy S23 is more than capable of handling demanding tasks with ease, from running high-end mobile games to streaming high-quality video content.

Many people were expecting to see Samsung implementing one of its own Exynos processors on the new Galaxy S22 series. Instead, the South Korean giant surprised a lot of folks by choosing a Qualcomm processor.

Qualcomm processors are incredibly powerful, like an over-caffeinated superhero on steroids. They are known for their exceptional performance, speed, and efficiency, making them the go-to choice for many top-tier smartphones and other mobile devices.

One of the key strengths of Qualcomm processors is their advanced architecture, which allows for lightning-fast processing of data and a smooth user experience. They are also highly efficient, with a focus on power optimization, making them great for battery life.
